Manager oversees end-to-end architecture for several large or mid-sized business applications for multiple geographies and/or mid-sized programs, or oversee components of one of the following technical solution architecture areas:What you need to know:
Functional Solution Architecture:
Responsible for managing activities related to GenAI IT strategy, current, transitional, and target state architectures and roadmaps for a functional solution across lines of business that align to enterprise, technical and other functional solution standards. This includes Channel and distribution, submission and file management, price and quote, policy and service, forms ecosystems, claims, money movement, billing and collections, finance ledgers and reporting, reinsurance, foundational DWF services, data modeling and usage, actuarial, shared business platforms, corporate systems.Technical Solution Architecture:
Drives GenAI IT strategy, current, transitional, and target state architectures and roadmaps for a technical solution across lines of business that align to enterprise, technical and other functional solution standards. This includes Cloud and hosting, security, data, integration, frameworks, devops, automation, productivity services and tools, application lifecycle services. Senior solution architect responsible for the architecture, design, and roadmap of large or mid-sized business applications or sub-functional technology solution areas. Collaborates and leads with other architects in the creation, adoption, and spread of company technology standards and principles for engineering teams.What you’ll need to succeed
Scope and Impact:Manager oversees end-to-end architecture for several large or mid-sized business applications for multiple geographies and/or mid-sized programs, or oversee components of one of the following technical solution architecture areas.Key contributor to GenAI architecture and strategy governance, standards, processes, and practices.Problem Solving:Identifies and resolves the most complex problems/issues/assignments and identifies barriers hindering operations.Leverages expert problem-solving skills and techniques.Responsible for creatively resolving unclear situations utilizing the highest level of expertise in specialized field.Autonomy and Decision Making:Applies expert analysis techniques in area of specialization to make decisions.Decision-making authority may extend beyond both area of specialization and unit/team.Sets priorities and/or sequence of tasks to achieve objectives with little to no oversight.Leadership:Provides expertise in planning, developing, and executing architecture initiatives.Acts as subject-matter expert in department leadership role and GenAI topics (often liaisons w/ executive leadership to drive business outcomes).Provides guidance and support to junior-level peers.Knowledge Expertise:Has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of 5+ architecture, existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments. Knowledge and experience building, implementing, and/or integrating machine learning and artificial intelligence models.Advanced knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), APIs, Open data, Microservices, DevSecOps, Event-driven IT, Predictive analytics and AI/ML, and Generative AI.Resource for information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, EA and ITIL frameworks and Ethical standards and controls for Generative AI.People Management:
First line manager or individual contributor.Geographic Scope:
Multiple Countries.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, system analysis, related field of study, or equivalent experience; with required years of experience.15+ years in at least two disciplines: functional, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, infrastructure, information security or operations in a hybrid environment (i.e. Cloud, on-prem).10+ years in positions of leadership.Ready to drive new innovations?
