NO-05:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Applying knowledge of IT, computer and network hardware, and integration;Providing resolution to installation problems associated with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) installations and upgrades;Managing installation processes, procedures and resources;Providing leadership to engineers, technicians, and IT specialists in planning, distributing, coordinating, and monitoring work assignments of others;Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) developing and executing solutions to complex C4ISR installations.
NO-04:Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Assisting with IT, computer and network hardware, and integration;Providing resolution to installation problems associated with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) installations and upgrades;Managing installation processes, procedures and resources;Providing leadership to engineers, technicians, and IT specialists in planning, distributing, coordinating, and monitoring work assignments of others.
I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:Attention to Detail -
Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency includes: Knowledge of analyzing data and resolving technical issues to ensure effective and efficient systems management support, service operations, and adherence to contract specifications.Customer Service -
Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency includes: advising senior-level management on complex issues and recommending courses of action.Oral Communication -
Expresses information effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency includes: Ability to present information, ideas, and conclusions clearly and concisely both in writing and orally.Problem Solving -
Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency includes: Ability to exercise critical thinking and independent judgment dealing with urgency factors, changing priorities, and constraints in the successful execution of the project.
