We are looking for our next Talent Acquisition Manager who is a talented mix of detail and process-oriented, strategic, and relational. In this role, you will oversee the recruitment process across our agency, leading full-cycle recruitment for creative, strategic, and senior leadership roles, ensuring we attract the best talent to support our thriving people-first culture.
You will collaborate closely with Finance and Directors to identify talent needs and projections, develop inclusive hiring practices, and enhance our candidate pipeline. As the primary point of contact for contractors, you’ll manage external resources while fostering positive relationships that align with our company objectives.

Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy
Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing and creating processes to lead our key stakeholders through the vetting processes.
Work closely with the Director of Operations, Sr. Director of Finance, and SVP of Service Delivery to analyze team workloads using internal systems to predict resourcing needs.
Partner with the Sales and Organic Growth teams to understand client needs and ensure adequate resourcing for incoming projects.
Develop and implement inclusive hiring practices to promote diversity within the agency.
Succession Planning
Champion team members’ strengths and opportunities to ensure the right talent is in place for key roles.
Collaborate with Department Leads to identify future talent needs and work on succession plans that promote internal growth and development across departments.
Pipeline Development
Develop strategies for sourcing candidates through job boards, networking, career events, and other innovative channels.
Lead proactive contractor recruitment and vetting in collaboration with Department Leadership to ensure quick turnaround and resourcing when business needs exceed internal capacity.
Build relationships through marketing networking events, communities, career fairs, local university career departments, social media and recruiting platforms to build and maintain a steady pipeline of potential candidates.
Relationship Management
Negotiate rates, manage onboarding, and activate contractors to meet project needs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for global support agencies, contractors and external resources, fostering positive relationships that align with company objectives.
Market Insights
Stay current with hiring market data and regularly research and analyze marketing industry trends—including shifts in salary ranges and talent availability—to guide resourcing and recruitment plans and ensure the agency stays ahead of market downturns or changes in demand.
Provide leadership with ongoing market analysis to inform hiring decisions and determine optimal times to bring in new talent.
Understand industry hiring shifts in order to provide updates on talent availability that can impact recruitment planning.
Requirements
2-4 years proven experience in recruiting
Must be based in San Diego Metropolitan area
Excellent communicator and negotiator
Proficient in ATS systems such as Workable
Demonstrates strong organizational aptitude with a can-do attitude
Empathetic and open-minded with a high level of emotional intelligence
Ability to build relationships and work with diverse personalities
Ability to work independently, both on longer-term strategic initiatives and on day-to-day operations
Agency experience is preferred

$65,000-$80,000 DOE
