This hands-on HR position will expose you to learning, challenges, and career growth.AccountabilityEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal, state, and local requirements.Monitor monthly compliance reports, create action plans for the area of responsibility and prioritize location visits based on overall compliance opportunities.Provide day-to-day tactical HR leadership and counsel to management in the area of employment law and labor relations under the direction of the Regional HR Manager and EVP.Proactively work with team members and management to resolve work-related conflicts.CommunicationManage internal customer expectations by communicating project status updates and issues, resolving concerns, analyzing time and cost issues, and preparing reports.FamilyAssist fellow team members during busy periods or when needed, promoting a sense of unity and cooperation within the department.Participate in grievance meetings and contract interpretations.Exceptional ServiceRecommend fresh approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in the departmental efficiency and services performed.Conduct investigations, manage benefits eligibility, leave provisions and workers compensation processes, ensuring timely review and submission.Execute strategy for Corporate HR initiatives and tailor delivery to division offices, managing the efficient rollouts.ProfitabilityProvide labor relations support in unionized locations. In union-free locations, ensure that proactive employee relations programs are in place to maintain union-free status.About YOU3+ years in an exempt-level HR generalist role supporting a region or division of 300+ employees.Mastery of Federal and State employment law for the region/state of oversight.Experience managing employee relation issues from investigation to resolution.Superior communication skills, written and verbal, able to effectively address all levels within the organization.Ability to prioritize work within a multi-tasking environment and understand and meet deadlines and due dates.Good strategic planning and operational sensibilities.Demonstrated ability to complete ad hoc projects and deliverables as requested.Ability to travel to various locations/regional offices on occasion.Union experience preferred, but not required.What We Can Offer You for All Your Hard Work:Vacation/Sick for full-time and part-time employeesHoliday for full-time and part-time employees$32 - $36 / hrAce Parking is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
