Job Description:

Senior AI Developer

The Senior AI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced web applications utilizing the full technology stack, including front-end, back-end, database, and cloud-based hosting tools. This role requires expertise in AI integration and cloud architecture, ensuring the successful delivery of AI-enhanced software products independently using functional specifications. The position entails collaboration on moderately complex projects while applying AI-driven innovations to support broader organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, integrate, and deploy web and AI-enhanced applications across the full technology stack (front-end, back-end, database, and hosting).

Independently deliver software products using functional specifications and implementing AI capabilities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and technical specifications for AI-driven features.

Use modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and back-end programming languages (C#, C++, Python, Ruby, Java) to deliver solutions.

Perform database management and integration using relational and NoSQL databases such as SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Architect and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS for seamless AI-driven application deployment.

Create and execute test plans to ensure system stability and performance.

Manage API integrations to connect various AI services and applications with existing systems.

Collaborate across departments to understand technical assistance requirements for AI application development, focusing on reducing disparities in user access.

Utilize version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial and development frameworks (MEAN, Django, LAMP, Ruby on Rails).

Stay up to date with AI advancements and incorporate machine learning algorithms and other AI technologies into development projects.

Provide mentorship and leadership within the development team.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

4-7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with experience in AI or machine learning integration.

Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies including C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, and PHP.

Strong knowledge of databases such as SQL, SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Expertise in cloud architecture and deployment, particularly with AWS.

Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN, Mercurial) and development frameworks (MEAN, Django, LAMP, Ruby on Rails).

Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, tools, and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including developing and deploying AI models.

Knowledge of cloud-based AI services and integration with applications.

Experience working in industries that require technical assistance with AI for social or public health projects.

Demonstrated success in complex projects requiring AI-driven solutions.

Compensation and Benefits:

The projected compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $147,925 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary is $133,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
