Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and motivated Workday Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking Business Systems Analyst to join our HRIS team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in optimizing and maintaining our Workday Human Resources system to support our HR operations and drive strategic HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR, Benefits and Payroll leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather system requirements and translate them into effective Workday HR solutions.- Configure, maintain, and enhance the Workday HR system to align with evolving Payroll needs and compliance regulations.- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Payroll, Absence and Time Tracking, providing guidance and support to end-users and resolving system-related issues.- Develop and execute test plans, oversee system testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality, accuracy, and reliability.- Engage in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, assessing their impact on existing configurations and processes.- Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including process workflows, user guides, and training materials.- Collaborate with external vendors or consultants as required for system enhancements or integrations. - Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing system enhancements and best practices.- Stay current with industry trends, Workday updates, and Payroll system advancements, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst or similar role.- Strong understanding of payroll, absence and time tracking principles, processes, and best practices.- In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM configuration and functionality.- Experience with system implementation, configuration, and maintenance.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Workday HCM certification (preferred).
Additional InformationThis full-time exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.Salary: $80,000-130,000/annual DOE; may be eligible for bonusWe are committed to providing a competitive benefits and compensation package which includes medical/dental/vision coverage, company-provided life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and sick/vacation plans.
