Automation Program ManagerLocation: Indianapolis, IN 46225Pay Rate: $55.00-65.00/hourEmployment Type: Full time, direct with a full benefits packageShift: 1st, Onsite, potential for hybrid schedule
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Program Manager to lead the automation solutions for a large-scale pharmaceutical program. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of program goals, including scope, schedule, and cost management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage automation resources, and serve as a key leader within the Program Management Office (PMO).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Automation Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring smooth execution of all automation projects.Develop and manage program planning documents, procedures, and guidelines.Oversee project scope, performance, and resource allocation to meet program milestones.Support and mentor project managers, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.Communicate project progress and staffing needs to the Automation Program Leader.Collaborate with stakeholders and other disciplines to meet business objectives.Manage requests for proposals (RFPs) and bid analysis.Prepare monthly reports, coordinate lessons learned, and manage project cost estimates.Support project scheduling, integration, and risk management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in Automation Project Management in the Pharmaceutical Industry.Proven track record in managing large-scale pharmaceutical automation programs.Experience with DeltaV controlled and batch-based capital projects (preferred).Proficiency in project management tools such as P6/MS Project, with a strong understanding of metrics and risk management.Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.In-depth knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.Project Management credentials (PMP) are a plus.
