We offer an attractive benefits package including a competitive base salary.Position OverviewWhirlWind Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Sr. Cloud Systems Engineer who shall provide design, development, configuration, security, system analysis, and modernization of Identity Management & Domain Services (IMDS) critical services that enable the Census Bureau network to function.Duties include but are not limited to:Designs and implements enterprise infrastructure and platforms required for cloud computing.Analyzes system requirements and ensures that systems will be securely integrated with current applications.Has a deep understanding of system development in cloud environments, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.EducationMinimum BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent certification, or years of experience)At least one or more current certification from the list below:AWS Certified Solutions Architect - ProfessionalAWS Certified DevOps Engineer - ProfessionalAWS Certified Advanced Networking - SpecialtyMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator ExpertRequirementsMinimum 4 years of Cloud proficiency experienceModernization efforts through Cloud integrationConfigure and manage IMDS CI/CD DevOps PipelinesServes as the technical lead on special projectsCollaborates with other OCIO teams on key initiativesApply Now
