About the Role

As Director of Media Sales, you will lead the Kohl's Media Network (KMN) sales organization to achieve growth goals, develop a sustainable pipeline and create and apply a vision for the KMN sales team. You will be a key leader within KMN and the voice of the customers, influencing key partners.

What You’ll Do

Develop sales vision, including identifying and coaching key behaviors and skills

Foster an entrepreneurial mindset and culture, encouraging resourcefulness to achieve sales goals

Own and evolve sales materials and resources for the team

Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive new partnerships and revenue streams

Collaborate with the finance and planning teams to set growth goals and maintain forecast

Develop and maintain the sales pipeline and all CRM systems

Collaborate with technology and planning to improve existing ad products and develop new ones

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities

Ensure pitch tracking and reporting are maintained, drive higher close rates and improve retention rates

Collaborate on the development and refinement of go-to-market approach

What Skills You Have

Required

Bachelor’s degree

10+ years of digital media and advertising sales experience, consistently exceeding revenue targets

Strong ability to cultivate relationships

Extensive experience in retail media networks or digital advertising, with a deep understanding of retail advertising strategies and market dynamics

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team, with strong skills in coaching, mentoring and performance management

Strong strategic planning abilities with a proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to influence internal partners and work effectively across departments to achieve common goals

Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales performance analytics tools

Preferred

Master’s degree

Experience in the retail and e-commerce market working for or selling to large brands, retailers and e-commerce sites

Well-versed in enterprise sales and contract negotiations with client procurement, marketing teams and C-Suite

Experience having worked in media sales, agency sales, creative tech, martech, ad tech solutions provider or similar

Previous pitch process leadership experience at a mid to large agency

Demonstrated experience in sales planning

Experience in developing and delivering presentations and business proposals across various platforms

Pay Range:

$180,100.00 - $300,800.00
