Job Location: Torrance, CA
Salary: $135,000-$145,000/yr

The Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) Lead will oversee the SIOP process for the site and ensure that production planning aligns and supports the sales forecast while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Order Backlog Management: Manage, track and monitor the order backlog from sales forecasts to order fulfillment. Collaborate with sales, programs, and operations teams to align product levels with customer demand.
Material Management: Track and update open purchase order delivery forecasts, ensuring accurate material delivery forecasts are driving the sales forecast.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on site rolling sales, late backlog and customer billings. Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve sales forecast and reduce late backlog.
Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, program office, supply chain, operations, and IT to ensure SIOP management aligns with overall site business goals. Communicate SIOP status and potential risks to stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve SIOP management process to enhance efficiency, automation and accuracy. Implement best practices and leverage new technologies to streamline SIOP process.
Compliance & Documentation: Ensure that all SIOP processes adhere to company policies and industry regulations. Maintain accurate SIOP records and documentation for compliance audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
5+ years’ experience in SIOP or master scheduling related roles
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word)
Knowledge of ERP/MRP and inventory management systems/software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to address audiences at varying levels.
Strong project leadership and/or management skills in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, and an ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
APICS certification
Infor ERP Software experience
