Customer and Market Researcher

to join LG NOVA, the LGE innovation unit based in Santa Clara, CA. Aiming to create the future of LG, focusing on disruptive and exponential growth, LG NOVA works with global corporations, startups, governments, and technology stakeholders to create new businesses, establish strategic partnerships, and develop a broad ecosystem using the "outside-in" innovation process.Job DescriptionAs the Customer and Market Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our incubation team by providing data-driven insights into potential markets, competitors, and customer behavior. You will be instrumental in validating the assumption about the customer, value proposition, identifying new market opportunities and trends within the Healthcare, Cleantech, and Immersive AI sectors.Responsibilities:Customer Research:Develop and execute customer discovery processes, including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and other qualitative and quantitative methods.Synthesize customer insights into actionable recommendations for solution development, business strategy, and partnerships.Work closely with EIRs, product leads and developers, to ensure customer needs are at the forefront of decision-making.Assist in identifying and prioritizing target markets, customer segments, and value propositions.Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.Conduct primary and secondary research to identify customer pain points, unmet needs, and emerging trends in target markets.Collaborate with startup partners and external innovators to gather insights that inform LG Nova's innovation strategy.Track industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market developments to provide ongoing insights.Market Research:Conduct in-depth market research and share insights with teams on a regular basis.Review and interpret large data sets and organize them into spreadsheets, charts, and graphs.Consolidate data findings into reports and present the findings and insights.Contribute to business plans and pitch deck development.Stay up to date on market trends, consumer and product research, and industry best practices.Search and communicate with third parties (market research and consulting companies).Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred with 7+ years of relevant experience.Proven experience in customer discovery, market research, business analysis, or a similar role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, filling the gaps for missing data, and translate it into actionable insights.Proficiency in data analytics software and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).Excellent communication skills.Location:
