Provide legal support and guidance on corporate real estate transactions and commercial matters.Specific ResponsibilitiesProvide legal counsel on real estate matters to Corporate Real Estate team. Support domestic and international greenfield expansions, land acquisitions, leases, and divestitures for all business units and corporate functions.Negotiate and draft lease agreements, subleases, and purchase and sale agreements to support company’s production, supply chain, and sales real estate needs.Conduct real estate due diligence in support of enterprise M&A activity.Negotiate construction-related agreements for facility buildout, expansion, or redesigns.Develop strategic plans and playbooks in support of enterprise real estate strategy.Protect business interests and advise management with respect to risks associated with negotiated agreements.Commercial:Provide legal counsel on commercial matters to corporate functions and diverse international business groups (Kitchen & Bath, Luxury & Wellness, and Hospitality).Negotiate and draft domestic and international commercial agreements (including, but not limited to, supply & purchase agreements, service agreements, development agreements, NDAs, and licensing agreements).Protect business interests and advise management with respect to risks associated with negotiated agreements.Work with the Commercial Legal team and key business contacts to align on commercial agreement language and strategy and provide training to upskill business teams regarding legal issues in the negotiation and implementation of commercial agreements.Skills/RequirementsUndergraduate and law (L.L.B. or J.D.) degree.Licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin or licensed in another state bar with ability to obtain in-house counsel status in Wisconsin.Prefer one to five years’ experience as a practicing lawyer working on real estate and commercial transactional matters either in private practice or with a corporate legal department.Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The salary range for this position is $102,500 - $130,550. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
