Multiple Positions, Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project
The Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project (ILAP) is hiring for two positions:Staff Attorney/Fully Accredited Representative
- The Staff Attorney or Fully Accredited Representative will divide their time between ILAP’s Portland and Lewiston offices, serving clients in both geographic regions. The anticipated caseload is a mix of affirmative representation before United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) and removal defense before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR). The Staff Attorney or Fully Accredited Representative will also provide legal consultations and participate in outreach and other legal program activities as needed. Review of applications begins on February 28th.Policy and Outreach Advocate/Policy and Outreach Attorney
- ILAP is seeking a Policy and Outreach Attorney or Policy and Outreach Advocate to lead our immigration policy and outreach efforts. The individual may be an attorney or someone with immigration law and policy skills and work history. We strongly encourage applicants with a lived immigrant experience.
