Evangelization & Discipleship Director

The Discipleship & Evangelization Director is a key position and is responsible for fostering a culture of evangelization and discipleship at St Bernard Parish in Appleton, WI. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive parish evangelization plan that is in alignment with the vision and mission of the Diocese of Green Bay, Disciples on the Way – to inspire all ages to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, proclaim their Catholic faith and live the Gospel mandates to love God, love neighbor and form disciples.Following the footsteps of Jesus, who rooted his ministry in relationship with others, we recognize that programs don’t make disciples, but relationships with others do. This position assists and equips ministry leaders, volunteers, and parishioners to be effective evangelizers and disciple makers through a variety of initiatives with the intended goal of raising missionary disciples.This position also works closely with the pastor / pastoral leader to grow the parish through engagement of current parishioners, inactive parishioners, and all those within the parish mission field.
