Who are we looking for?

Burton & South Derbyshire College is seeking to appoint a Director of Curriculum to join its College Management Team. The College delivers a wide range of technical, vocational, and professional education programmes from entry levels right through to higher education, utilising an extensive range of employer relationships.

The Director of Curriculum role will report into the Assistant Principal Curriculum and will have management responsibility for a range of curriculum departments and line management responsibility for a group of Curriculum Team Leaders.

The Director of Curriculum will be expected to lead, motivate, and inspire a team to design, plan and implement a curriculum that meets the local and national skills priorities, engaging learners to achieve their maximum potential. The successful candidate will be innovative, able to think strategically, and oversee the implementation of day-to-day operational matters, paying attention to detail while keeping sight of the bigger picture.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
