Introduces innovative, profitable foodservice programs to the regions using the ‘one-some-many’ test and learn process.Successfully balances tried-and-true convenience foodservice with risk-taking; possesses a ‘let’s crush it” or fail-fast attitude.Will build a foodservice category management team – one regional category manager in each region to start.Incorporates input from employees and customers. Stays in tune with local preference, market conditions, products, and competition.Collaborates with the Director of Category Management and Marketing to optimize total in-store performance.Develops and drives performance of annual budgets for foodservice revenue, gross profit, and gross margin that align with the long-range strategic plan.Leads development, implementation, and communication of market-specific foodservice objectives, promotions, and strategies. Works with marketing to craft consumer-facing messages and support in-store signage elements and orders.Develops foodservice related implementation plans, instructional content, planograms, equipment programs, and reporting and tracking forms. This position, like all leadership roles, is hands-on.Manages performance on all SKUs and components of foodservice profitability such as packaging, supplies, cost of goods, retail pricing, and waste to deliver gross margin. Maintains forecasts to ensure proper inventory levels at the stores and distribution centers.Establishes foodservice safety programs and procedures and is the number one evangelist of our foodservice safety culture. Manages supplier level relationships to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards, including adhering to all city, county, and state health and food safety regulations. The foodservice category team manages nutritional information, ingredient statements, and food and beverage specifications for accuracy and incorporates them appropriately in accordance with FDA menu labeling requirements.Participates as a team member in market survey and analysis projects for new locations. Assists in design and development of new and reconfigured store facilities. This includes recommending foodservice programs and equipment evaluation in partnership with the facilities management team.Prepares and communicates monthly foodservice revenue, gross profit, and gross margin forecasts. Monitors and evaluates the monthly gross margin foodservice budget as it compares to the actual monthly sales and gross margin.Responsible for approval of all aspects of securing foodservice supplier rebates and vendor contracts, including terms, negotiations, contract analysis, authorized items, etc. Works with the procurement and accounting teams as required.Works closely with the price book team to actively manage category margin performance and retail pricing accuracy. Works with price book and accounting teams to manage rebate accruals, generate movement reports or required backup, investigates discrepancies, and communicates with accounting and vendors for timely setup and delivery of payments.Works closely with retail information technology and analytics support teams to define reporting requirements and support any program changes.Consistently demonstrates leadership by supporting colleagues and especially helping store teams accomplish our collective goals.Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.Four-year degree in business, marketing or related discipline preferred.Ten or more years of convenience store or other retail foodservice program experience, from inception through successful operationalization.Foodservice safety certification.Strong understanding of convenience store operations and regional customer tastes and preferences.Track record of sales and profitability growth.Knowledge of production selection, placement, purchasing, inventory management, pricing, and promotions.Proficient with Microsoft Office.Willingness and ability to travel to retail sites in Hawaii and the Spokane, WA region and other Par Pacific locations as needed. Travel is expected to be up to 25%.Willingness and ability to work in stores a minimum of 4 full days per year.The Successful Candidate Will:
