SummaryPrimarily responsible for back-end duties, including tasks like dishwashing, preparing coffee and beverages, and cleaning up after events.Shift8:00 AM to 5:00 PMTemporary positionRequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.Completion of Ricoh Legal training within 90 days of hire and ongoing training as needed.Previous experience in similar roles, especially within legal or copy services, preferred.At least 1 year of experience in the legal industry is highly desirable.Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.May require a valid driver's license and auto insurance, per company policy.Proficient in MS Office Suite; basic technical aptitude with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and postage machines.Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures.Basic electronics knowledge is preferred.Ability to work independently and multitask to meet deadlines.Strong organization and troubleshooting skills.Ability to comprehend and follow instructions related to mail delivery, packaging, and document handling.ResponsibilitiesOperate high-volume duplicating, scanning, and mail processing equipment in a legal office environment.Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and shipments, including applying necessary postage.Perform copier maintenance and repair tasks as needed.Carry out various entry-level tasks such as binding, quality control, housekeeping, filing, and call center duties.Ensure the quality of work on sensitive, time-sensitive documents in a legal setting.Operate scanners, document management software, and Microsoft Office applications.Maintain convenience copiers, clearing paper jams, and performing daily quality checks.Maintain records and inventories for supplies and services.Distribute office supplies and mail to designated personnel or drop-off points.Calculate charges for jobs performed and maintain billing logs.Respond to service calls and customer inquiries regarding job requests.Travel between customer buildings, if required.Perform scanning, file conversions, file naming, and other document management tasks.Use FTP for file transfers and manage electronic file structures, including OCR for keyword searches and TOC management.Coordinate off-site projects and collaborate with other departments as necessary.Provide professional support to legal staff, including secretaries, paralegals, associates, and partners.Ensure accuracy and quality on projects, especially under tight deadlines or pressure.Perform additional duties as assigned.
