We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our Finance & Strategy, Corporate team at Anthropic during a period of rapid growth. In this role, you will optimize financial decision-making across the company by driving impactful financial planning projects and processes. You will develop insightful reporting, and contribute to data-driven decision making across the organization. As we scale our business, you will play a crucial role in building a world-class strategic financial planning and analysis function and processes to support our growth.Responsibilities:
Drive and optimize annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly management reporting of financial performanceCollaborate with business partners to develop financial targets, key metrics, and detailed business plans, earning trust and a seat at the tablePrepare materials for monthly business reviews with executives to discuss results, identify risks and opportunities, and drive accountabilityDevelop insightful variance analysis for internal and external stakeholdersCreate and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and metrics to track performance and inform decision makingContribute to the development and implementation of financial systems and process improvements to scale Finance & StrategyCollaborate with team members across Finance to ensure accurate, timely financial close and reportingYou may be a good fit if you:
Have 10+ years of strategic finance, FP&A, or similar experience in a high-growth environmentDemonstrate proactivity and strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial challengesPossess excellent financial modeling skills; highly proficient in Google SheetsAre adept at communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiencesHave experience with multi-dimensional finance and business planning tools (esp. Pigment)Have experience with workforce planning, international expansion, and cost modelingAre fluent at translating between GAAP and non-GAAP financial metrics, and quantifying the impact of non-financial metricsThrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and adapt well to changeAre passionate about Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systemsHave excellent business judgment, integrity, and a strong work ethicStrong candidates may have:
Experience in SaaS, AI/ML, and usage-based business modelsan MBA or other relevant advanced degree (e.g., finance, data science, statistics)Strong SQL and data visualization (e.g., Looker, Tableau) skillsLogistics
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.Visa sponsorship:
