Your efforts on our team will help us to build the University for the Future.The Opportunity:The University of Central Florida is seeking an accomplished and strategic Executive Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations (CFR) to lead efforts in securing significant investments from corporations and foundations. This role is pivotal in advancing UCF's mission to drive student success, research, innovation, and excellence, contributing to the university's goal of becoming one of the Top 25 public research universities.Classification Title:

Development Director IIIResponsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Support the AVP of Corporate & Foundation Relations in implementing a strategy that aligns with UCF’s strategic plan, driving student success, research, innovation, and excellence.Develop and drive complex strategies with corporations and private foundations capable of making significant investments across the university, fostering long-term partnerships.Relationship Building:Build and grow relationships with CFR donors, UCF’s academic community, and the UCF Foundation (UCFF) to define and drive sustained value creation for all stakeholders.Identify major gift-level CFR prospects and execute strategic directions that culminate in financial support for UCF.Team Leadership:Manage and provide leadership to the CFR Associate Directors of Development, including planning and monitoring budgets, optimizing resource use, and overseeing activities involving volunteers, prospects, faculty, and administration.Demonstrate strong leadership skills in guiding multiple corporate engagement teams to coordinate effectively across the university, delivering measurable value to UCF and its partners.Strategic Engagement:Ensure that each strategic engagement plan identifies opportunities to diversify and grow university revenue across a range of options.Facilitate meaningful engagement with UCF for assigned corporate partners through diversified tactics, including access to students and faculty, on-campus experiences, programmatic integration, participation in advisory boards, and opportunities to connect with UCF leadership.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree and 6+ years or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.Preferred Qualifications:Extensive experience in corporate and foundation relations or a related field, preferably within a higher education or nonprofit setting.Experience with CRM systems such as Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, or Raiser's Edge and technology.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Knowledge of fundraising best practices and philanthropic trends.Proven track record of securing significant investments from corporations and foundations.Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in overseeing development professionals.Excellent relationship-building abilities with donors, corporate partners, and internal stakeholders.Strategic thinker with the ability to drive complex initiatives and partnerships.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire various audiences and stakeholders.Special Instructions to the Applicants:Advancement and Partnerships values the unique contributions that each team member brings to our division.
