Location: Eagan, MinnesotaOverview: Salem Media Group Minneapolis-St. Paul is seeking a digital-savvy, highly motivated sales professional to serve as our Local Ministry Director. This important role is responsible for all aspects of local church and pastoral relations, including the sale of programming, spot and digital advertising to local churches, ministries, and related small to medium-sized businesses. We simplify the marketing process for our customers while helping them understand their advertising options, all while using best-in-class tools! In short, we help our customers grow their business. Prospect for qualified local and regional churches, ministries, and small to medium-sized businesses; present and close appropriate marketing solution programs.Deliver compelling advertising presentations and strategic plans that address client objectives.Responsible for accurately projecting revenues, meeting and exceeding monthly budgets for all product lines, and overachieving annual budgets.Follow accountabilities set forth by your sales manager to help guide you to success in achieving monthly sales quotas consistently.Develop promotional campaigns for churches for greater community impact.Serve as our liaison to the Twin Cities Area community of pastors and leaders.Work with National Ministry Partners for donor acquisition and other local events.Qualifications
The successful candidate will be smart, curious, tenacious, entrepreneurial, independent, passionate, and enthusiastic, enjoying the thrill of bringing in new business.Mission-driven with a track record of exceeding sales goals.Proficiency in prospecting and effective listening skills.A college degree is a plus; with 1-2 years of ministry sales experience preferred.Great problem-solving and analytical abilities with strong business acumen.Strong understanding of the local market, marketing concepts, and digital media.Knowledgeable of digital products & applications such as: Search Engine Marketing, Audience and Search Retargeting, Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Management and Marketing, Digital (Programmatic) Display, Website Development, Live Chat, and Email Marketing.Benefits
