positions with Dr. Li Hsu in the Biostatistics and Cancer Prevention Programs at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.The position will come with a very competitive salary and great benefits for at least two years. The environment at Fred Hutch is lively yet casual, with a strong emphasis on innovative and collaborative work. Fred Hutch is housed in a lovely campus next to Lake Union, a short walk from downtown, and a convenient shuttle from the University of Washington.Responsibilities:Developing statistical methods for integrating diverse data sources, evaluating the clinical and population utility of risk-based cancer screening.Developing risk prediction models using lifestyle, environmental, genetics, and cancer screening data.Specific areas of interest include survival analysis, causal inference, risk prediction, cancer screening, and observational data analyses.The fellow will have real-hand data analysis experience by participating in large collaborative studies, in which rich data on tumor genomics, germline genetic, lifestyle, and environmental risk factors on multi-ancestry populations have been collected.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ph.D. in statistics or biostatistics, or related degree with strong skills in applied statistical methods development, data analysis, and computation.Application Instructions: Applicants should provide a CV, a short statement of research interests, and contact information of three referees uploaded with your application.A statement describing your commitment and contributions toward greater diversity, equity, inclusion, and antiracism in your career or that will be made through your work at Fred Hutch is requested of all finalists.The annual base salary range for this position is from $67,728 to $150,000 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
