Compensation:
$128,000.00 - $150,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex litigation cases with minimal oversight, ensuring effective case strategies and client satisfaction.
Handle broad case topics such as construction defect, product liability, and tort litigation, applying advanced legal analysis and research skills.
Prepare comprehensively for trials, including gathering evidence, pre-trial motions, and collaborating with expert witnesses.
Conduct depositions and make courtroom appearances, demonstrating persuasive communication and sharp litigation skills.
Maintain a diligent approach to caseload management without the constraints of minimum billable hours, focusing on quality and client needs.
Foster relationships with clients by providing transparent communication, frequent updates, and strategic advice.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the firm's knowledge base by sharing insights and developments in litigation practices.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus in insurance defense, construction, or personal injury.
Proven trial and deposition experience, demonstrating capability in high-stakes legal environments.
Strong self-motivation and proven track record of working independently.
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, able to manage multiple cases effectively.
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing, adept at argumentation and presentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience specifically in large-loss insurance subrogation litigation is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to lead a legal team through complex litigation processes.
Advanced skills in negotiation and client management, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
Background in both state and federal court cases is an added advantage.
Adept in use of legal research software and other technology related to case management.
Skills:
