Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! As the Corporate Slot Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting management of slot performance data enterprise-wide and performing data analytics for both Atlantis Casino Resort Spa and Monarch Casino Resort Spa Black Hawk. Responsible for performing analysis on slot machine activity, location, utilization, etc., and recommending optimization efforts to continually improve overall slot floor financial success. Generates reports and performs audits on slot performance and operations as needed. Reviews industry research for applicable knowledge to the property. Identifies opportunities for operational improvements. Assists Slot Operations Manager and Slot Performance Manager with projects as assigned.Responsibilities

Develops analytics capabilities across aligned functional areas, properties, and other stakeholders.Makes recommendations for improvements across the enterprise to slot Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure business cases are adequately reflected.Collaborates with Information Technology and Business Intelligence teams to select adequate database management tools and prioritize data collection needs.Helps maintain database architecture through ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.Identifies business improvements and presents actionable recommendations to stakeholders via presentations.Performs due diligence testing and reporting on slot databases and machines.Partners with internal and external customers on ad hoc research projects (IA, Accounting, Surveillance, GCB).Develops and enhances the analytics capabilities of the Slot department by performing data mining and building statistical models.Utilizes reporting tools (i.e. Excel, SSRS, SQL, Cognos BI, Power BI) to develop ad hoc and recurring data visualization tools across the organization.Monthly Slot Reporting (including but not limited to):

Maintenance and auditing of slot progressive tracking program.Testing of all new machines and converted machines for optimization.Regular labor analysis reviews to improve efficiency and reduce labor cost.Assist in developing and modifying annual department budget. Review with director, GM and budget committee.Assist Slot Operations department with operational tasks as assigned.Assist Slot Performance department with projects as assigned.Coordinate with slot manufacturers to ensure that top-performing products are correctly placed on the casino floor.Other job-related duties as assigned.Responsible for strict adherence to Compliance policies, internal control procedures and the Casino’s policies and procedures.Special projects as assigned.Other duties as assigned by management.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. Requirements:Bachelor's degree.Gaming Industry Experience is preferred.IGT Advantage casino management system experience preferred.Data Confidentiality agreement.Other Qualifications:Knowledge and experience with Slot Operations, Slot Player Tracking, Casino Management and Casino marketing systems.Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office Professional software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Report Builder (SSRS), Access, and Excel.Knowledge of business intelligence software such as Cognos BI and Microsoft Power BI.Practical knowledge in accumulating and integrating data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong guest service orientation.Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.Enthusiasm and positive attitude.3+ years casino related work experience and/or training with a college degree in Marketing, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Development preferred.
