Well&Nest LLC has partnered with a Litigation firm that services the legal needs of companies throughout California. They seek an Associate Attorney - General Liability/Professional Liability for their downtown Los Angeles location.
Responsibilities
Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of actionAttend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior attorneys to provide legal advicePrepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedingsCommunicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficientlyKeep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Qualifications
3-8 years of experienceExperience in representing both design professionals and miscellaneous professionals (Preferred)Significant experience in discovery and law and motion practiceMember in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)Successful completion of the bar examCompletion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law schoolMust also be a self-starter who possesses strong organizational skillsAble to work with multiple clientsMust have excellent writing and oral advocacy skillsEffective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clientsAbility to work with partners and other attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
Hybrid Schedule:
3 days in the office (San Diego), 2 days working from home
Competitive Salary Range:
$145,000 To 190,000.00 annually plus bonus
