Axon is seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst supporting both our sales and finance teams. You will serve a mission critical function structuring complex multiple-element quotes that execute the company’s financial objectives. You will be responsible for analyzing and researching existing customer contracts to accurately identify customer performance obligations and to build appropriate invoicing structures. You will develop a detailed understanding of Axon’s Quote-to-Cash process and build quotes that ensure accurate fulfillment and invoicing to deliver a world-class customer experience.
This position reports to a Commercial Operations Manager. In addition to working daily with sales reps, you will partner with our Commercial Controllership, Accounts Receivable, and Order Processing teams.

Location:
Hybrid in Boston, MA, Atlanta, GA, or Washington, D.C.Structure complex deals for key accounts by working cross-functionally with Sales and Finance to ensure efficient delivery to customers and accurate financial outcomesBecome a Subject Matter Expert in diverse array of innovative products and develop an extensive understanding of Axon products and bundlesProvide support and guidance to sales representatives on best practices for deal formats and non-standard quote requests inclusive of excel file supplements and custom reportsPrepare thorough and accurate research files utilizing multiple data sources to support Axon’s contract modification process, and document conclusions to ensure company procedures are followed end-to-endEnsure Axon’s customer relationship management system Salesforce.com accurately reflects customer specific contractual elements related to custom contract terms, pricing, invoicing and discountingTest new product introductions and system updates to ensure business process changes are executed smoothly and timelyWork closely with our business partners across Sales, Commercial Controllership, Order Processing, and Accounts Receivable to ensure deals are executed in our systems timely and accuratelyOther duties that may ariseWhat You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience3+ years experience in sales operations, pricing or commercial operations roleFinance orientation with an excellent attention to detail, especially with data setsWilling to work overtime hours when required especially during peak seasons of the yearDemonstrated experience in Microsoft Excel including but not limited to pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, what-ifs, templatization, data table refreshes, and general formulaic file buildsClear and concise written & verbal communicationStrong analytical skillsTeamwork & collaboration-orientedAble to take initiative, ownership, and be proactive in their daily workComfortable with conflict resolution & persuasionShould have a service mentalityAble to work in a fast-paced environmentBenefits that Benefit You

The starting base pay for this role is between USD 60,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 85,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
