Athletic Director, Assistant Athletic Director Season Dates:
February 10, 2025 - early May, 2025 Job Purpose: To help create and promote a healthy team, player/coach, coach to coach dynamic and to create a space for students to have the opportunity to participate in sport-specific training during their modified season. Duties and Responsibilities: Be present at team gatherings. Create and coordinate opportunities for the team to develop camaraderie. Plan, direct, and supervise workouts. Adjust typical practice plans to accommodate for COVID restrictions. Participate in coaching meetings. Communicate with the team as necessary. Assist with uniform collection at the end of the season. Ride the team bus for practice and/or games when necessary. Complete coaching education as required by the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Qualifications: Undergraduate Degree preferred. Knowledge of sport. Ability to improve team dynamics. Enjoys working with teenagers. Previous playing or coaching experience. Working Conditions: Essential Physical Tasks: To work on your feet for multiple hours. Lift and carry up to 40 lbs of equipment. Travel to offsite facilities and ability to work evenings and some weekends.
