Operations Group, Operations Group > Business Process AnalysisGeneral Summary:The Business Process Analyst will identify, develop, deploy and support business processes for the IT Site Reliability Engineering team in support of Qualcomm’s Automotive Business Unit. This includes improving existing business processes as well as identifying/driving new processes for the team to improve our scalability, flexibility, cost, and pro-activeness. You will work closely with the Automotive and IT teams to develop integrated solutions. You will assist in large system and process integration projects, consolidation and segregation of functions, and creating flexible and scalable solutions to meet organizational goals.As a Business Process Analyst dedicated to our SRE team, you will:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes, identify pain points, and propose improvements.Analyze existing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process enhancements.Work closely with SRE engineers to ensure seamless integration of process improvements into our systems.Develop documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.Participate in project planning and execution related to SRE initiatives.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and effectiveness.Lead End User Training and provide users process and systems training.Examples of regular activities:Business Engagement and Requirements GatheringSolutioning WorkshopsDeveloping Functional SpecificationsProcess Definition/DocumentationCreating Training DocumentationConduct Demo’s and User TrainingProcess Mining and Enhancement SessionsTesting SolutionsFacilitating User Acceptance TestingPost-Production Solution StabilizationAd-hoc Production SupportA background with hands-on experience in business solution life cycle and deploying cross-functional system-based solutions is highly desirable. The experience should consist of writing requirements documents and functional specifications that capture business requirements thoroughly yet succinctly.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.5+ years of related business process analysis experience.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.7+ years of Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related work experience.6+ years of experience with analyzing complex data sets.3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).1+ years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).Pay range:
$101,500.00 - $152,500.00The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
