This position is based in our Irvine, California Corporate Headquarters with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule.
Summary:
The US International Tax Manager will be part of a dynamic in-house tax department with both US and non-US based tax personnel. The primary focus of the US International Tax Manager will be on US International tax compliance; however, the position will also support US International tax planning and participate in tax audit support. The US International Tax Manager position will have great cross-functional opportunities to partner with but not limited to accounting, treasury, legal, and distribution operations team to gain a deep understanding of Ingram’s overall business landscape.
The US International Tax Manager will report to the Director of Tax Operations. The Director of Tax Operations has over 18 years of US International Tax experience split between the Big Four and Ingram Micro in-house tax departments.
Your Role:
Prepare and review US International tax return filings including but not limited to Form 5471s and 8858s
Assist in preparation of Form 1118 Foreign tax credit utilization calculations and ancillary US International tax calculations such as Form 8990 (163(j)), Form 8991 (BEAT), Form 8992 (GILTI), Form 8993 (FDII) and Form 4626 (CAMT)
Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations in collaboration with our internal tax team and external tax advisors
Support US international tax planning projects
Assist with transfer pricing as needed
Take part in Internal Revenue Service examinations including drafting correspondences and meeting with examiners, as needed
What You Bring To The Role:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Accounting, Finance, or Tax. A Master’s degree in Tax or Accounting is preferred but not required.
A minimum of 5 years work experience, 3 of those years in international tax and 2 of those years in general tax/finance or accounting job functions.
