As a Risk Payment Associate, you will leverage your analytical skills to safeguard our global operations. In this role, you will handle customer and VIP inquiries regarding deposits, withdrawals, and chargebacks. You will work within our Risk and Payment Operations department to assist our customers and internal teams with the goal of maximizing and recovering revenue generation along with mitigating future losses.What you’ll do as a Risk Payments Associate
Review player deposit and withdrawal transactions for potential fraud to ensure DraftKings' merchant accounts are correctly maintained.
Maintain knowledge of the upcoming industry and product risks, regulatory changes, emerging risks, and trends.
Support the discovery, containment, and prevention of fraud and abuse groups.
Act as a point of contact for Payment Service Provider (PSP) inquiries.
Review daily chargeback reconciliation reports and notifications of incoming disputes from Payment Service Providers within our internal database.
What you’ll bring
At least 1 year of relevant experience in banking, business, or finance is strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields.
Knowledge of payment processing and chargebacks, ideally in an e-commerce environment.
Experience in SQL and intermediate Excel is preferred, but not required.
Data-driven, strategic mindset, and strong attention to detail.
Competence with Zendesk and Microsoft Office product suite.
Ability to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $19.62 - $24.52, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.Join Our Team
