This is the Invention Age - and this is where you come in.Excellent opportunity to join the Hardware, Software, Subscription and Services Revenue Team to support incentives/rebates and to build business acumen on Qualcomm's products and key customers. This role provides the opportunity to interact with the pricing team to review contracts and deal proposals. The applicant will ensure accurate accounting guidance is applied for the Compute business and other non-mobile businesses including tier 2 customers. The applicant will also support quarter-end close, including preparing, reviewing and analyzing journal entries while ensuring correct accounting treatment related to the business's revenue incentives. Where needed, this role will support billings, revenue recognition, deferred revenue, SOX controls, ASC606 and cash applications, and will build working relationships with the accounting team in Hyderabad.Position requires to be onsite in San Diego full time.Successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:Collaborate with cross-functional teamsIdentify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to optimize financial reportingAbility to meet deadlines and handle multiple prioritiesAbility to adapt to new systemsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, etc.) and other financial software (such as TM1, Oracle, Tableau).CPA with audit experience.Supportive of an inclusive, knowledge-sharing, team-focused culture.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
