Our team maintains strong partnerships across the Legal, Risk & Compliance organization, with our internal business clients in Global Solutions and US Markets, and with our matrixed partners in Global Operations and Global Technology, Data & Analytics. We have a dynamic blend of industry experience and legal, risk and compliance expertise. Team members are strong problem-solvers and project managers, and we encourage development and recognition for good work.This role will lead the US compliance advisory team that supports internal business clients in US Markets and Global Solutions responsible for TU’s consumer-facing business, based on a full understanding of TU’s consumer-facing products and services, as well as the laws that regulate them.Lo que traerás:Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ experience in the financial services industry in roles such as risk management, compliance, and legal.Expert in consumer protection laws including UDAAP and FCRA.Experience navigating a highly matrixed organization.Experience interacting with federal regulators preferred.Excellent written and oral communications skills, with the ability to effectively interface with senior management, regulators, and external entities.People management skills, strong leadership, influencing, and relationship-building skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.Pragmatic and practical mindset, with experience in thinking creatively and innovatively in providing legal and compliance advice.Strong project management skills and comfort with organizing and managing multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.You are proactive, take the initiative, and can work independently with little to no supervision.Experience in evaluating the marketing of consumer financial services preferred.Impacto que harás:Partner with internal business clients to help innovate creatively in ways that benefit consumers and comply with the law.Develop relationships with internal business clients, peers in Legal, Risk & Compliance and key stakeholders in Global Operations and Global Technology, Data & Analytics, to effectively navigate a highly matrixed corporate environment.Lead the US compliance advisory consumer team in supporting internal business clients in product development and marketing, and in assessing the impact of new laws and regulations.Lead the team in supporting internal business clients to self-identify control breaks that could bring harm to our customers and consumers, investigate the root cause of those issues, and identify and track corrective action to remediate any potential harm.Lead the team in supporting regulatory exams and enforcement activity.Lead the team in developing relevant policies and training.Effectively manage and support the US compliance advisory consumer team, ensuring completion of projects, initiatives, goals and other strategic priorities.Effectively coach and mentor the US compliance advisory consumer team, developing talent and creating opportunities for growth.This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Benefits:TransUnion provides flexible benefits including flexible time off for exempt associates, paid time off for non-exempt associates, tuition reimbursement, additional (following any short-term disability) 10 weeks of parental leave with gradual return, adoption assistance, fertility coverage, spousal and domestic partner benefits, charity gift matching, employee stock purchase plan, retirement contributions with employer match, organizational growth potential through our online learning platform with guided career tracks, and access to TransUnion’s Employee Resource Groups.We are committed to being a place where diversity is not only present, it is embraced.
