Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Manager to support our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing all financial aspects of the firm. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in financial modeling, financial reporting, accounts payable, and experience supporting portfolio companies. This role is hands-on, requiring someone who can not only manage day-to-day finance operations but also contribute to broader financial planning and analysis in the venture capital ecosystem.In this role you will:Support the CFO in managing the firm’s financial operations, including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy in the reporting of the firm’s financial position.Develop and maintain financial models to support investment decisions and strategic planning.Manage accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and vendor payments.Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reports for both the firm and portfolio companies.Assist in the preparation of capital calls, investor distributions, and other fund-related activities.Work closely with portfolio companies to provide financial support, including assistance with financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and processes.Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Monitor cash flow and manage treasury functions as needed.Assist with any ad hoc financial projects or reporting requirements as needed.You should have:Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA required.6+ years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally with exposure to venture capital, private equity, or investment funds.Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.Experience in managing accounts payable, financial statements, and general ledger functions.Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Advanced proficiency in financial software tools and Excel.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.Location:
