Our people are deeply committed to our Mission & Vision and their decisions and actions are guided by our Investment Beliefs.Our Global Public Equity (GPE) group is currently seeking an Investment Manager (IM) to act as the leader of the Emerging Markets Portfolio Construction effort for the GPE Portfolio Construction team and drive our CalPERS mission.Duties include but are not limited to:Manage and lead the Emerging Market portfolio construction efforts for the GPE internal equity management function, including all aspects of implementation and risk control.Act as lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the portfolio construction workflows and processes used in the GPE internal management function to improve efficiency and scalability.Lead a team of portfolio managers by developing them in the specifics of systematic equity strategy management and the associated investment risks, with a view toward creating a deep implementation effort and viable succession plan.Responsible for supporting GPE and INVO initiatives and modeling CalPERS leadership competencies, exemplifying a collaborative and communicative culture.Interview Dates:
