Instructor will provide training and support to paraeducators, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively assist teachers and support student learning. This role includes developing instructional materials, facilitating workshops, and collaborating with educators to enhance classroom practices.
These positions are on continuous recruitment, and are filled on an as-needed basis, depending on course offerings, enrollment and specific department needs. You will only be contacted if there is a current need at the college you indicated on your application and have met the qualifications/skills and experience that are required for the position.

CSCU is developing a pool of applicants for potential part-time teaching positions in the Continuing Education and Workforce Development within the non-credit division at the College. The Non-Credit Lecturer must meet all teaching expectations, as outlined by the Director of Workforce Development.Minimum Qualifications:
Para Educator:Experience working as a paraeducator or in an instructional role. 5+ yearsStrong knowledge of instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.Prior community college teaching experience.Practical experience in the related Workforce Education industry for which you are applying.Demonstrate knowledge of the industry trends and workforce needs.Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. Experience with reflective, interactive, culturally responsive pedagogical teaching techniques. They are expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)Preferred Qualifications:
Para Educator:Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (preferred).Salary:
