Perimeter Security Product Architecture and Engineering Lead
will be a strong technical lead and security professional that will help drive Perimeter & Threat product architecture and engineering by providing subject-matter expertise for the Bank's Firewall and Threat Prevention environments. This position may additionally require occasional on-call level of technical support for high severity impacting incidents.This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include demonstrating expertise within technical domains, decomposing issues or objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices.Key Responsibilities:Help drive strategic project initiatives and risk remediation efforts with attention to detail, operational availability and time to marketAssists in the development, testing and standards guidelines for products within the Perimeter and Threat productProvides technical support to the client and management and staff in risk assessmentsConfirms that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutionsContributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domainsReviews and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processesReviews and guides the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, playbooks and the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoptionMentors and assists Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standardsPromotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockersSkills:Analytical ThinkingApplication DevelopmentProduction SupportSolution DesignAutomationBusiness AcumenDevOps PracticesSolution Delivery ProcessStakeholder ManagementAdaptabilityArchitectureInnovative ThinkingRequired Qualifications:Firewall, Intrusion Detection, Proxy web gateways, malware/data leakageBA or BS in relevant field (e.g. Telecommunications, Information Security, Computer Science), or equivalent experienceExcellent customer service skills including reporting, organization, written and oral communication and task prioritization5-7 years of experience in the field of Network Security5+ years of experience working with Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, Denial of Service (DDoS/DoS) mitigation tools, and Threat prevention services (proxy web gateway, data leakage, malware detection)Ability to produce clear written communications for diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to create and deliver persuasive presentationsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive consensusExperience in an Agile managed organization using products such as Jira, Kanban, Confluence and HorizonDesired Qualifications:Engineering experience with large-scale enterprise solutionsDevelopment of high level designs, product reference architectures/standardsProduct hardware/software test and certification backgroundCritical thinking and problem solvingShift:
