The Application Developer develops database and web applications to support Parallon Development solutions. The position is responsible for ascertaining business requirements from business users and incorporating those requirements into applications that meet the defined need(s). The position is also responsible for assisting the Senior and Consulting Application Developer(s) with other duties as assigned including maintenance and support of ongoing applications.In this role you will:Develop, support, and maintain database and web applications that support the healthcare revenue cycle.Work with a project team to complete application development assigned tasks according to project plan (if applicable) and communicate obstacles.Assist in developing prototypes/models and determining data sources (if applicable).Follow technical and development standards when developing database and web components.Create and execute application unit testing plans. Document and resolve resulting defects.Coordinate system and user acceptance testing (as appropriate).Create and maintain application documentation.Assist in analyzing and executing change requests and enhancements.Resolve application issues as needed and participate in On-Call rotation schedule.Develop appropriate application controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.Act as a liaison between Development Solutions and Parallon business users.Actively participate in application design sessions.Provide technical guidance to business users.Devise technical solutions to promote business activities.Perform application monitoring, maintenance, and enhancements as assigned.Assist with other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of C# application development experience.ASP.net, Node, React, SQL, and cloud experience a plus.1 – 3 years of experience on increasingly challenging projects in business, or systems analysis or systems development.Thorough understanding of critical IT processes – project lifecycles & SDLC.Ability to communicate succinctly and in a variety of media.Strong collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.Bachelor's Degree, or Work Experience in lieu of Degree.Must have the ability to acquire and maintain wired, (no Wifi), high-speed internet with 25 MBS downloads and 15 MBS upload speeds.Parallon
