Amazon is seeking an inventive thought leader to join the Profit Intelligence team to manage a program aiming at providing an innovative solution to self-service P&L slices across business dimensions and support the long range planning and forecasting processes. In this pivotal role, you are encouraged to have the autonomy to push boundaries by connecting to multiple cross-functional groups.The right candidate is passionate about understanding the competitive landscape and building partnerships across business teams to drive change. You have a strong foundation in financial analysis, an ability to dive deep into complex financial metrics and understand business context behind the data, and continuously strive to find deeper insights. You will own and drive the business roadmaps for both financial reporting and planning/forecasting portfolios that guides your technology team’s focus areas. In this role, you will leverage your partnerships across business teams in understanding their business requirements and influencing priorities, distilling these requirements to sketch roadmap that reflects right prioritization aimed at maximizing return to the business partners while building solid technology foundation in collaboration with your engineering team. You will have the ability to work with and influence businesses in a global setting and drive change across Amazon.We are part of the Seller Partner Services and develop sophisticated profit intelligence solutions for the Amazon Consumer businesses, supporting deep dive analysis, vendor negotiations and business planning towards enhancement at the bottom line. Work independently in a fast-paced environment in translating broader mission into big ideas and tactics.Translate complex or ambiguous business problem statements into requirements and design innovative strategic solutions.Understand business holistically to ensure the correct prioritization and trade-offs are made on the product roadmap.Build stakeholder relations and manage expectations through active representation in stakeholder summits, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and own ongoing program communication.Work closely with senior leaders and their teams to drive growth, process, and cost efficiency improvements through studies and surveys.Develop understanding of Amazon financial metrics, strategy, and long-term thinking to guide recommendations for improvements.Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.Experience with end to end product delivery.Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.Experience as a product manager or owner.Experience owning technology products.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
