Do you enjoy finding elegant technical solutions to complex problems? Are you interested in seeing an impact of your work in real life? We are looking for innovative and passionate undergraduates to join our engineering teams as summer analysts.Team: Enterprise EngineeringThe Enterprise Engineering team is responsible for design and development of foundational software infrastructure utilized by applications throughout AQR. The team works on multiple different systems, some of which includes:Firmwide Data PlatformData services for multiple business areasPNL, valuations and securities systemsExternal Market DataInternal Reference DataThe team is also responsible for building and maintaining common development tools and libraries that are implemented in Java, C#, Python and Go. The team also collaborates with other teams to help them re-architect their applications and modernize their tech stack. We work on multiple interesting technologies and are quick in adopting latest technologies when it fits our use case. Most of our infrastructure, services and applications are running on AWS cloud leveraging multiple new-gen services. We also focus on non-functional aspects to ensure our services are highly robust, performant, and scalable.As part of your job, you will collaborate with many AQR teams including Business Development, Operations, Portfolio Implementation, Research, and others. You will learn firsthand about platforms and processes that run AQR, one of the largest quantitative investment firms in the world. You will be expected to research, design, code, test and deploy projects while working in a fast-paced environment.
