Your Opportunity
Stantec's Lynnwood office is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer who will be able to apply electrical engineering principals and superior client service skills to cultivate and deliver projects that exceed expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Provide expert leadership in project management and relationship skills, leading integrated design teams and their interactions with Stantec's clients.Demonstrate a "client first" approach in developing key relationships.This individual strategically evaluates opportunities and challenges and incorporates well-developed consulting and technical skills into each client interaction.Applies technical and project management expertise while leading cross-functional resources to meet project requirements within established time frames and budgetsServes as a trainer, mentor, and resource to othersHolds project team members accountable for deliverables and financial performanceNurtures existing client relationships and proactively pursues opportunities for new businessProvides client consultation; drawing on professional expertise and knowledge of Stantec's servicesDevelops and delivers client presentationsMaintains current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skillsQualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
PE registration is preferredSuccessful history of collaboration and teaming with electrical contractors on Design-Build projects is preferredExperience in the construction industry and/or in-depth knowledge of construction processesUnderstands and implements project management principlesAbility to manage clients, projects, fees, and teams to achieve budget, schedule, and deliverable objectivesAbility to integrate design elements with other disciplinesStrong knowledge of applicable codes and standardsDeep understanding and knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting systems, and technology systems for the built environmentStrong knowledge of military market sectors including architects, engineers, contractors, and facility managers operating within these marketsAbility to apply sustainable design principles within projectsStrong client communication and interpersonal skills - Functional knowledge of recent versions of AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEPStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Periodic travel may be required to meet engagement/client requirements - may include regional, national, or international based on the contracted requirements.Education and Experience

Salary Range(s):
$93,400 - $135,400 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI and MD$100,200 - $145,300 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WACA Other Areas $93,400 - CA Other Areas $135,400 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Benefits Summary:
Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
