Overview:
This position is responsible for creating, designing and implementing the strategies and programs to promote a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion and enhance employee engagement. Maintains a strong community presence and acts as Company liaison in fostering relationships to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion for the company with a focus on recruitment, development, and retention of diverse talent. In collaboration with the lines of business, develops and implements company initiatives in these efforts. Responsibilities: Creates and implements short-term and long-term strategies to enhance employee diversity and engagement through the analysis of metrics and research on best practices and benchmarks as input to designing and implementing Company Initiatives. Assesses employee engagement using internal tools (Employee Engagement Surveys, exit interviews, etc.) with an emphasis on diversity objectives and identifies strategies to improve employee engagement and retention. Promotes diversity, inclusion and employee engagement through management education, employee awareness and the development and delivery of related training, including instructional materials, facilitator guides, manager expectations and accountabilities. Develops strategies to enhance the onboarding, engagement and retention of new employees. Identifies opportunities to develop a diverse pool of candidates through a comprehensive understanding of lines of businesses and core aspects of jobs, with focused development of recruiting efforts and partnerships within the community. Serves as a liaison with educational institutions, such as high schools, colleges and universities, to engage in programs and initiatives aimed at developing and attracting future talent. Serves as liaison to Company leadership for employee engagement, diversity and inclusion strategies for the Company. Provides guidance and expertise to business line leadership to ensure that diversity objectives are successfully implemented and in line with business objectives. Leads employee groups focused on informing and implementing company strategies and initiatives related to diversity, equity and inclusion to maximize their utilization as valuable company resources. Provide guidance and oversight to company Business Resource Groups to ensure alignment with company and group objectives. Serve as an HR point of contact on cross-functional working groups that support diversity objectives, shares best practices, and facilitates inter-departmental activities and efforts in support of diversity, equity and inclusion. Establishes strong external partnerships with organizations that strengthen the Companys presence and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Coordinates with Corporate Communications to develop and implement a comprehensive communication process that supports strategies and initiatives related to employee diversity, equity and inclusion. Directs the development of annual Affirmative Action Plans. Establishes solid working relationships with regulatory and government agencies. Provides feedback to business units on their EEO progress and collaborates with them on action plans to address gaps. Coordinates on-site audits and subsequent follow up actions. Monitors and analyzes applicant flow, job changes and terminations for adverse impact. Manages development and tracking of workplace compliance training courses, metrics, and reporting. All other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications: Basic Qualifications Position requires a BA or BS in Human Resources, business or a related field A minimum of eight years of broad HR experience, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion or Business Development or strategic project management. Must possess valid drivers license. Preferred Qualifications Strategic thinking and visioning with the ability to develop and implement strategies Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong initiative and results oriented; analytical and conceptual Exceptional consensus and relationship-building skills Certified Diversity Professional
