Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dover is currently seeking a full-time R&D Intern/Coop, for summer 2025, responsible for assisting Design and Manufacturing Engineers on new product design. We're looking for an intern with education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

We're located southwest of downtown Dover which is the largest city in the New Hampshire Seacoast region, the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and the seventh in the U.S.A. We're less than seven miles from the main campus of UNH, and did you know that Dover even was the birthplace of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise?

What you will be doing:

Assisting Electrical and/or Mechanical engineers on new product design as neededDesign verification testing for electrical and/or mechanical requirements through the product development processAssist with new product documentation and troubleshooting during prototypingEnsuring new products can be manufactured on a repetitive basis utilizing standard materials and common manufacturing methodsInteracting with manufacturing floor personnel, operations support team members, purchasing and suppliersWhat you will bring along:

Schooling in Electrical or Mechanical EngineeringExperience using electrical test equipment preferredBasic knowledge of the tools and equipment used in the fabrication of tooling and components preferredFamiliarity with automation and programming beneficialProficiency in the use of Solidworks a plusAbility to work full-time Summer hours
