Provide Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute ASI's financial strategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance program performanceParticipate in institutional strategic planningProvide financial counsel to leadership team, staff, and Board of TrusteesLead Financial Management
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reportingManage investment portfolio and endowmentsLead the annual audit process and tax complianceImplement financial technologies and best practicesBe a Team Leader
Hire, train, and mentor accounting staffFoster a culture of collaboration and professional developmentManage Stakeholder Relations
Present financial reports to leadership team and Board of TrusteesManage relationships with external financial partnersEnsure compliance with funding source requirementsRequirements
You're right for this role if you have-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field5+ years of progressive financial management experienceExperience with complex nonprofit organizationDemonstrated leadership and supervisory experienceComprehensive understanding of financial operations (audits, budgeting, AP/AR, GL, payroll, investments)Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, advanced Excel, and cloud-based financial systemsKnowledge of data analytics for financial decision-makingStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication skills, especially in explaining complex financial conceptsCollaborative approach to financial managementWe prefer these additional skills-
Active or inactive CPA licenseExperience with fund and grant accountingFamiliarity with CRM databases

$85k-$115k commensurate with experience
