About the Role

The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of Latham's Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for leading the day-to-day people function of a local practice office, providing subject matter expertise, while developing and executing Human Capital & Talent strategies inclusive of engagement strategies, optimized performance, and professional development. This role will be located in our downtown Los Angeles and Century City offices.

Please note:

This role will have in-office expectations in both our Century City and downtown Los Angeles offices, however, time spent in each location may shift as the needs of the firm change.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:Serving as a trusted advisor to office leadership and colleagues, providing advice and guidance across all human capital topics, inclusive of employee relations and policy adherenceChampioning colleague well-being and enabling a work environment that is equitable and offers fair treatment, transparency, inclusiveness, personal accountability, trust, and mutual respectIn collaboration with office leadership, driving initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness, including talent development and acquisition, resource management, and colleague training programsUtilizing data-driven insights to optimize human capital & talent strategies, and leveraging market intelligence to make informed business decisionsProtecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retainsWe'd love to hear from you if you:

Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and strategic thinking skillsExhibit the ability to use HRIS and data to identify insights that drive actionDemonstrate excellent leadership skills and the ability to cultivate relationships across teams at all organizational levelsAnd have:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, or a related field; with a Master's degree, preferablyA minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources leadership and management experience, and familiarity with CA labor lawsProven experience as a Human Resources (HR) Business Partner or similar leadership HR roleBenefits & Additional Information

Pay Range

USD $125,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
