Outside Sales Manager

position is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities. Must be highly motivated and able to work remotely three days a week and travel to designated locations and/ or assigned market(s) in defined geographic region and two days a week on property to consult with the onsite sales team and conduct site visits. Must be energetic, tenacious, and commission driven. Must be able to sell event space along with guestrooms ranging from small business meetings to large conventions to weddings and everything in between.Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.Generate hotel/resort awareness through direct sales which include phone calls, networking groups, in person, and the occasional tradeshow.Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.Understands the overall market competitors strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.Gains understanding of the locations primary target customer and service expectations.Supports the companys service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.Must have flexibility, some weekends may be required.BRING US YOUR BEST.:Have previous sales experience and proven record of accomplishment.Comfortable using basic office programs and learning innovative technology.Must have a valid drivers license.Must be able to pass a background check.Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.Strong networking capabilities.Highly organized and detail oriented.
