Come join our family, We Dig Your Future!We are looking for Underground Heavy Equipment Operators in the Inland Empire as well as Los Angeles areas!Responsibilities:Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and pavingOperates heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of lifePerforms daily safety and maintenance checksCleans heavy equipment as scheduled and/or requiredMaintains the equipment and advise supervisor of any requirement for maintenance or repairsManeuver heavy equipment into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed; check that the vehicle position is correct and any special loading equipment is properly positioned.Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbanceUses equipment as appropriate to level roads and/or working area, ensure proper drainage, and develop proper grade.Use various pieces of equipment to perform fine grading and finishing, sloping and banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating and stockpiling.Uses equipment as appropriate to level roads and/or working area, ensure proper drainage, and develop proper gradeEnsures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the taskProperly follows all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environmentReports any problems to your immediate supervisorSignals operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment, movement, and materials with shovelFollows direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsiteMay be called upon to run small power tools such as jack hammerDigs, spreads, and levels construction materialsLifts, carries and holds material, tools and suppliesMaintains regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is requiredOther duties as assignedSafetyResponsible for ensuring OSHA standards and company safety policies are complied with at all times including but not limited to operation of tools, equipment and machineryCorrects unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediatelyQualifications:

Considerable knowledge of equipment operations and construction and maintenance proceduresMust possess a working knowledge of grades and blueprintsSkill in operation of assigned equipmentAbility to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to establish effective working relationships with other employees and general publicPay Range:

$30.00 - $45.00/hr based on experience.
