We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director/Sr Director of Marketing Operations to lead and oversee the marketing activities for IMCF team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all marketing initiatives, including brand management, fan engagement, digital marketing, and event promotion. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong project management skills who can coordinate across multiple teams, manage complex campaigns, and deliver impactful results. Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish is required, along with a strong background in sports marketing, particularly in soccer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the team's objectives, driving fan engagement, revenue growth, and brand visibilityDesign and implement marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales, merchandise purchases, and fan engagement. Oversee the end-to-end execution, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet strategic objectives. This involves breaking down the campaign into tasks, assigning them to team members, and setting deadlines.Collaborate with various internal departments (like Digital, Sales and Partnerships) to run promotional campaigns.Track and evaluate the success of campaigns through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement, reach, and conversion.Organize marketing efforts for events such as Matchdays, fan meet-ups, merchandise launches, and other club-related activities.Collaborate with event coordinators to maximize visibility and attendance, especially for high-profile games and club events.Oversee the marketing department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently across different projects and campaigns.Ensure ROI is maximized by tracking the effectiveness of marketing investments.Lead the end-to-end project management of all marketing initiatives, from initial planning to post-launch analysis.Serve as the central point of contact for different stakeholders, including internal departments (like creative, Digital, Partnership and Sales) and external partners (agencies). Make sure that all teams are aligned on goals, timelines, and deliverables.Create detailed project timelines for marketing activities such as product launches, match promotions, or sponsorship activations, ensuring that each milestone is tracked and deadlines are met.Regularly track the progress of all marketing projects, providing updates to senior management and other stakeholders. Use project management software or tools to monitor performance, deadlines, and deliverables.After completing major campaigns or projects, lead a post-mortem analysis to evaluate what worked well and where improvements can be made. This includes gathering feedback from the team and stakeholders, and using those insights to improve future campaigns.All other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).7+ years of experience in marketing and sports marketing is preferred.Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.Proven experience managing marketing teams and working cross-functionally across departments.In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and digital advertising.Experience with fan engagement strategies, community outreach, and loyalty programs, particularly in a sports environment.Demonstrated success in managing sponsor relationships and developing partnership activations.Proficiency in using data analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize campaigns.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.Ability to think creatively and strategically in developing marketing initiatives that resonate with diverse audiences.Strong passion for soccer and a understanding of the MLS landscape.Ability to work nontraditional hours in nontraditional settings, including holidays, nights and weekends.
