Technical Writer and Editor Key Role: Provide te chn ical writing support, to include creating and preparing programmatic and engineering documentation for the client from initial draft through finalization for delivery. Write and edit te chn ical manuals, test procedures and plans, work instructions, and training packages, with primary focus on drafting new technical documentation. Interview subject matter experts, conduct research, and analyze technical information to distill into clear and concise language. Leverage knowledge of te chn ical writing best practices and DoD guidance to produce comprehensive and accurate documentation. Contribute to solutions to a variety of challenges of moderate scope and complexity. Basic Qualifications:4+ years of experience in technical writing and producing te chn ical documentationExperience with using Micro sof t Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with using AI technology and tools to create written contentAbility to create document templatesAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:Experience with military standards and specifications governing the preparation of te chn ical documentationExperience with Adobe Acrobat ProAbility to work independently and within a team environmentBachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field

The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
