Materials Manager

Description:Our client is currently seeking a Materials Manager for their manufacturing facility in the Harrisburg, PA area.This job will have the following responsibilities:Lead, coach, and manage a team of 6 FTEThis role is fully on site (Monday-Friday)Take ownership of organizational transformations towards end-to-end supply chain responsibilitiesBe a Continuous Improvement champion and drive performance improvements with the team in order to achieve operational excellenceMonitor facility capacity, identify shortages and drive material extensionProactively collaborate with stakeholders for end-to-end optimizationPromote a positive work culture encouraging outstanding performance and a positive work environmentQualifications & Requirements:Applicable degree from an accredited College or University a plus, but not required!APICS CPIM and SIOP Certification a big plus!4+ years of similar experience within a heavily industrial manufacturing sector especially with a Best in Class organizationStrong background as a master schedulerEquivalent experience within a high volume/high variable manufacturing process
