Painter - Engineer Tech
Our hotel is hiring a Painting-Engineer Tech. In this role, you will handle various painting assignments throughout the hotel. Our painter will perform a variety of duties including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and clean. Responsibilities
•Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty•Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach•Assemble scaffolding when required•Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint•Match and mix paint to job specifications
Qualifications
•Sheetrock and Stucco repair•Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training•We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED•Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required•Driver's license required•Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
