GEICO's Procurement team is seeking an experienced Category Management to establish effective governance over GEICO's supplier partnerships specifically pertaining to marketing, product, and real estate. This role is essential to the successful delivery of key cost, risk, and performance management-related efforts for third-party relationships leveraged by their line of business, in addition to identifying strategic opportunities for growth and/or greater return on investment. Primary focus will be oversight of GEICO's highest tiered suppliers based on risk, spend, and complexity.

Primary Responsibilities:

Contract SME for all new and "Key" incumbent renewal contracts for their supplierWorks closely with internal team members establishing and maintaining relationships with internal business partners to ensure products and services align with Geico's information security protocols and domain target architecturesIdentify value-generating opportunities (e.g., savings, efficiencies, or revenue growth) within supplier engagements, licensing models, or servicesComfortable leading RFx events to build leverage with GEICO suppliers and deliver more favorable pricing and contract termsLead contract negotiations in alignment with Geico contract processes, policies, and proceduresPartner with internal risk groups to ensure third party relationships are compliant with all relevant policies and proceduresMonitor and ensure successful delivery against third party contractual obligations, including management of SLAs, True-ups, notification windows, etc.Lead execution of policy requirements for managed third-party relationshipsPlan and lead periodic risk reviews and assessments of supplier relationshipsRequired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or military experience preferred3-5 years of experience in marketing, product, or real estate business sectorStrong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skillsProven track record of identifying and implementing improvements to business processesExperience negotiating contracts, including professional servicesExperience with ensuring customer requirements are met during the negotiation processExperience communicating with senior management and responding to their inquiries and requestsExcellent communication and time management skills; able to communicate contract issues to diverse audiencesProvide problem-solving and innovative ideas to support internal customersDemonstrated ability to negotiate with vendors to more effectively position GEICO to receive the best value proposals for the corporationDesired Qualifications:

4-year degree with Finance, Business Administration, or Supplier Management majorExperience with a large service providerExperience with contract management systemsLocation:

Hybrid - This position will require the individual to work onsite 3-4 days per week. Remote work days when not onsite.

Annual Salary$98,000.00 - $154,000.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
